How many times had this thread been started? How many times has it worked? Even the administration made a public appeal and failed to have any impact. They're going to say it, and that's that. It's a mob of intoxicated 18-22 year olds. The pleas are delusional at this point.

If the rest of the stadium would scream and chant in unison (i.e. the actual words to the song), they could drown that student section out. But that won't happen either.

This is Ole Miss we are talking about. They and the rest of the SEC need the full brunt of our hate.
Lately, we have spent much more energy hating ourselves.
It's time to be who and what we are. If we are the loudest, most intimidating stadium, we need to be that. If our students are borderline retarded, foul-mouthed trash, then they need to be that. If we are the one team that is guaranteed to rock your fricking world every time you play them... then we need to be that.
It's time to stop trying to be something we aren't. LSU is at its best when it is brutal, loud, weird and crazy. Stop doing it half-assed. Go all the way.

The students can put STTDB into any song the band plays and they have figured that out. It is meant to taunt the opponent. I understand that it is juvenile, but they are a bunch of college kids. All that crap they do on second and third down is pretty juvenile too.
BTW, you do know the arm gesture the entire stadium does (including Mike the Tiger and the cheer leaders) when neck plays actually encourages them to say STTDB, right? That is what they think it means.
