Matters not. All a money grab at this point, ala Kevin Faulk in that Carencro bar incident. Mr. Beinvenue would be well served in remembering what that judge told the plaintiff.

Also, someone needs to explain to Mr. Beinvenue that although Jordan Jefferson has won a bunch of games as a college qb (and I hope he helps win some more), he's probably not going to sign a JaMarcus Russell type deal w/the NFL.

No. It's not sexexecutioner.

That would be dumb. It's waaaaay more clever than that.

It's TheSexecutioner. See, he didn't just combine Sex with executioner. He spliced Sex into executioner.

TheSexecutioner.

See how clever that is. Do you see it?

He deals mostly in real estate litigation. He probably planned to go after Shady's and their lessor or whomever owns the parking lot the entire time.

Right, like I said he's grasping at straws at this point because more than likely, the recent events have been highly damaging to his case. JMO.

No, but by the time this civil lawsuit gets filed, JJ will have a college degree and probably a decent job with wages to garnish, own his own vehicle, etc. It's not like he is completely unemployable if he doesn't make it big in pro football. Not to mention the real "deep pockets" here: Shady's insurance company.

You guys obviously don't know Bienvenue - not afraid of the big boys and hard nosed litigator in all areas of law - gone against bigger boys than LSU in the past - if there is information to be uncovered - he will get it!!!!!

Kinda. He definitely has the ego to go against anyone. He will do just about anything he has to in order to win a case, within the confines of the law. So, yeah I guess I agree with your statement about him.

Bienvenue also alluded to more evidence coming out in the civil case and other parties being involved besides Jefferson

I'm no lawyer, but to me that means 1 of 2 things:

1)He has evidence linking football players to the 3 victims in the vehicle, and didn't divulge it to the police, keeping it "secret" until the civil portion, or
2)He did divulge it and the police decided it wasn't even enough to bring simple battery charges against other players.

Any other scenario possible?

The radio guys can't pronounce it. Not surprised that people can't spell it.

Why wouldn't he. It's his job to look out for his clients' interests, not LSU's. If LSU interfered in any way, then they are idiots. The players' got themselves involved in this mess, they should get themselves out of it.
And thats the truth. Both laywwers are what lawyers are turds!

My understanding is that - unlike the police who have no client - civil lawyers who are representing a client can and will go much further than the police with an investigation

Bee-yen-vuh-new or Bee-yan-vuh-new depending on your accent.

I used to work in telemarketing and called the whole damn phone book for the Baton Rouge metro.

Way harder Cajun French names to pronounce that that one. Bienvenu is mighty easy IMHO.

I doubt anyone had to talk her into getting a restraining order against him. Not only was he harassing her, he showed his arse in public and I'm sure it embarrassed the shite out of her. My guess is she was fed up with his shite and wanted to make it illegal for him to do something like that again.
