Man he has lost that edge that we're used to seeing. At 70, he had that spectator look at times that is troubling to Bama fans. They didn't look like a Saban led team in all phases.

And yet they are #2 in the country. They probably wont beat georgia but how sure can any of us really even be about that? I sure hope he hangs it up or just starts doing poorly but until that actually happens, hard to bet against the guy.

He's going to stay too long, probably already is doing that.

If I'm a Bama fan, I'd start looking for my next HC. He may stroke out on the sidelines very soon throwing his little-man temper tantrums...

I'm still salty we lost. The worst LSU team in years beating Bama in Tuscaloosa with our lame duck coach would have been awesome

At 70 his coaching time should be coming to an end. Stamina at 70 is a lot different than at 50 or 60. We've seen what happened to coaches that stayed too long…Bowden, Paterno, Fulmer.

This happens in a few games every year. Has more to do with the players than the coaches...players can't be focused and excited every game.

He's in decline and should walk away. He cant recruit like he use to either.

The Bama team is a shell of its former self

They aren't the second best team in the country.

Would have been a good addition to a 30 for 30 episode.

That's just cause his team isn't that great this year.

He'll be fine as long as he keeps having way superior talent

Nobody stands out as a top 2 team. It’s just Georgia and then everyone else at this point

I will give the man his due. What he's accomplished since getting his start at LSU is unsurpassed.

But this year's Bama team is proving to be inconsistent. LSU managed to expose them- and you can bet Georgia's staff is already studying that game film. And they're licking their chops.

I don't see Alabama making the playoffs.

He is definitely not the same guy

He is talking losses in stride and never did that before

The end is near

Number 2 in the country with loads of talent on the team and committed for the future and you think he stayed too long already? Come on, man.

He is still winning by recruiting the best but his staff isn’t on par with others he has had.

Fulmer was 58 when he left. He tied for 1st in the Eastern Division the year before leaving. TN has never been the same since he left. Agree. One of these is definitely not like the others.
