It’s pretty funny how an actual M.L.B. pitcher made this thread a few days ago and everyone hated it and now the thread is made again and everyone loves it.

Helped sign No. 1 recruiting class in 2008 and No. 2 class in 2010 at San Diego (Baseball America).
What dimension was I living in when this happened? How on Earth did San Diego, of all schools, have the numbers 1 and 2 classes over a three year span, and why do I not remotely remember that? And how did they manage to squander all of that talent?

He mismanaged the last inning. He had the entire infield in for play at the plate with 1 out and bases loaded. In that situation you should play the corners in and shortstop and second at normal depth for a double play to get out of the inning.

Uh oh... Jay Johnson called TO in the middle of an AB to talk to the hitter. The Rant will not want him now.
How did that AB conclude?

I'd be perfectly fine if we hired Johnson. I think he'd do great things here.

Yeah these days regionalism doesn’t really matter. That’s especially true now that the SEC has a national brand and you can sell your program as one that will be broadcasted on national TV basically every game. SEC has the $$$ for us to get anyone we want.
