O and his minions have already telegraphed the impending excuses:

1. New offensive scheme
2. New QB
3. Lost a lot of starters
4. Hard schedule
5. Injuries

And it will for Orgeron too if Alleva is still in charge

Miami, Auburn and Bama are not interchangeable. Those will be three tough games, but you're kidding yourself if you think Auburn or Miami are as good as Bama.

I'll be pulling for you in all those games

Planning to stay in NOLA and drive up on game day since I've never been and it will be what, 20 years before we come back

I'd take 9-3 in a heartbeat this year with the way the schedule is. I'm not counting the bowl game into the equation. In all seriousness there is only 2 for sure wins on the schedule in southeastern and Rice. Everyone else including La Tech are not gimmie games.

Miles time was done and there is a reason he isn't coaching anywhere right now.

And there was a reason Orgeron had no head coaching offers other than LSU.

I wasn't saying anything about Orgeron being a good hire. I'm saying it was definitely Miles time to go.

I agree

We just fricked up the hire after him.

Although I think he plateaued rather than declined.

If y'all lose to Ole Miss

that should be a win most years, and they are good and truly fricked and in disarray at the moment

9-4 with this team is a good season. I can live with that.

Why would it not?

New QB, new linemen, new receivers, new running back, with new offensive coordinator and somehow expectations expect a 1 loss team?

Im aiming for 2019 as our year. Patience. I like what I saw Saturday except Offensive Line. They will be ready and we will be solid.

Because it hasn't been good enough for nearly 2 decades.

Ho. Lee. shite. We are worried about Mississippi State. Welcome to Ed Orgeron’s LSU Tigers, ladies and gentlemen!

The Ed O effect in full force.

This is also why the other thread is correct. Ed O is here at 7-5, and probably 6-6.

"I can live with that."

Orgeron wasn’t hired to do: “it doesn’t look so bad, shithead.

I mean, people can tell by your posts, but just how goddamn stupid are you?

If we can't expect 10 wins then we have the wrong coach. It wasn't good enough before and it shouldn't be good enough now.

Saban had 2 great years at LSU
and an 8-5 and a 9-4 year.

Orgeron is the worst head coach in Ole Miss’ history. Saban is possibly the best head coach in college football history.

Most of you must have forgot that Les left us bare dry at certain positions including quarterback.

Also must forgot that our offense when he left had multiple years of running the same useless crap that was taught: we had to break old habits and install new ones.

Coach O attempted to address it past year but Canada was a dick and bucked his own boss.

I personally believe Coach O has made great decisions lately and that our offense will become elite in a couple of years.

For this year alone 9-4 or 8-5 is A OK. The following season is where we should be expecting a championship type record.

Some of you seem to expect immediate change in one year. Crazy town.
