Unless Griggs improved DRASTICALLY at the plate, she ain't leading off. That spot is Landry's. She is faster than AJ. Also, in 2017, we have a girl coming from Parkview who has been clocked to first base in 2.6 seconds. That's lightening fast. And she will likely start her freshman year.

You people do realize Bell made first team All American at SS, don't you? She ain't going no where. She improved tons from last year and will likely do the same this off season and while playing with the USA team.

Sahvanna was an All-American and you were asking for her to transfer so STFU.

Do you think they will show the shoelace film when she walks to the podium.
She made several poor decisions of not knowing where the force was or runners in scoring positin. I saw multiple girls this weekend who knew those fundamental things you learn in pee wee leagues. The defense for Michigan was probably the closest a "baseball" team I saw. Double plays, throw outs on steals, etc. If we improve a little on that we win more and close the door on teams quicker saving out pitching. Bell needs to improve, if that doesn't change, she should go to DH.

I borrowed this from another thread, just wanted to post in case anyone was interested.
Incoming Freshman to Look For
Shemiah Sanchez- Highly recruited SS out of Georgia, she is athletic and solid defensively. She hit over 15 HR's and 14 2B's her Senior Year. She will hit over .300 her Freshman year and about 8-12 HR's. She will be challenging spots on the infield as well as DH. She will make an IMMEDIATE impact next year offensively.
Amber Serrett- Probably will be the best defensive player on our team next year. From the Woodlands area, she was an All American SS who has a strong arm and a very good bat. She is phenomenal offensively as well. Definitely watch her closely, she will most likely be starting by some point next year.
Sydney Smith- Pitcher out of Minnesota- Gatorade Pitcher of the Year- She will be given opportunities immediately. Very highly recruited prospect. Will add depth
Taylor Satchell- Utility player that is athletic. She can play in the infield but could play OF. She brings a very good bat.

I'll get bashed for this because I'll be seen as the guy who doesn't believe in fun but stop the props and rally bullshite.
When you make it to OKC, you need to have a business like approach. That means, when you're told to buy snacks, you don't come out with a fricking fish. That, along with the video bombing and masks need to be stopped once you get to OKC.
That's just me though. I guess flame away...

Again, you are an idiot sir, and show such in every softball thread.
As far as Bell she is so horrendous that she was again selected for Team USA this year as an infielder. Some of you need to get a fricking grip.
I firmly believe Nicky Dawson will move into a starting outfield spot next year as a freshman and will be the lead off for this team. She gots da wheels.

You need to read for understanding and move on.

Have more field awareness. Seems like every game I watched this year a girl would make an out and stand there like she won an award as base runners advanced
I did see that on quite a few occasions- those split milliseconds of doubt can mean the difference between runs being scored and in some cases, games being lost.

Well, since they lose almost no one (AJ Andrews being the biggest loss), I suspect they will be very good next year, even better than this year.
I don't know about more disciplined at the plate. They had some pretty impressive offensive numbers no?
And with respect to Ms. Griggs, just your dirty mouth!!! She and Jenna Kreamer can do whatever they want! And might as well add Misses Simmons, Bourg, and Landry to that list too!

Landry or Griggs will likely lead off. As for Bell, I don't see Torina benching Bell at all. I do think she needs to reshape the infield. Bell would be much better at 2B. Let Amber Serrett or Shemiah Sanchez play SS. I am fine with Jaquish at 3rd. Shes not a killer but solid there.
Taylor Satchell, Thymes, and Lockwood will all compete for that outfield spot. Landry will most likely move to center as well

1&3 yes
4. Meh
2. I'd say we were pretty good at the plate.
