Scared and too conservative on offense but I’m just a casual fan and don’t really know a lot of technical stuff of the game.

On the contrary. If folks start attempting to stop our pass game more than the run game will inevitable open up. That, plus actually using Caden is big - it would allow our offense to stay on the field for longer drives, thus keeping our D off the field as much as possible.

I think this is what the staff was hoping would happen all season. But teams keep challenging us to throw it and that gets our D on the field much more frequently.

In his defense, Campbell did win the Outland Trophy Player of the Week last week against UCLA.

What does “identity” even mean and why do people think it’s important.

If I had to guess I’d say our identity is, never coming to play at the start and thankfully playing shitty teams where we could make up the difference

In 2 weeks our identity will just be a shitty team that won’t make the playoffs and hopefully doesn’t go 6-6

Year 1 under Kelly- worst special teams in lsu history.
Year 2. - worst defense in lsu history.
Year 3. - giddy with excitement to see whats in store.

I feel like we’ve seen pretty much what’s in store. At best we can maybe shape up a little more at the beginning of the game so we come to play, but we’re a soft team with a pretty bad defense and our best O lineman is totally cool with his QB getting rocked right in front of him.

Year 3 with Brian Kelley and we still see a team who starts SLOW, even against weaker teams.

Lack of fire, leaders and dawgs which LSU has been known for - bad arse defense and bulldozer running backs. Key ingredients to success in the SEC, and we STILL DON’T HAVE IT!

Next year will be a rebuild.

IMO, after this year, there should be no more rebuild year for Kelly and LSU. With the availability of the portal PLUS the recruiting class coming in, moving forward should be Playoffs or bust. NO MORE EXCUSES.

Finesse offense with a boom or bust defense. How I’d describe their identity.
