No one has any clue what he can or can’t do tomorrow (not even Sknenes because it is still in the future and your body heals completely differently at different times). He could have lots of trouble or he could be spot on for 7-8 innings. He could only get 60 pitches or 85. That will depend on how he feels coming into the game and throughout the game. That will depend on how well his process went this time around.
He could easily pitch the game of his life for 8 innings tomorrow.

How dense are you? How hard is it to comprehend? Days rest is counted as calendar days between starts. 4 between UT and WF. 3 between WF and Florida. That's how it's always been. It has to do with nights sleep for body recovery. What time the game was played has nothing to do with it.

Why are we talking about 5 days as normal rest? Skenes normal rest is 6 days. During the season (most of the time) he pitched every 7th day (Friday).
Pitching on 3 days rest after pitching on 4 days rest is asking a lot of him.
I hope he can give us something tomorrow.

It’s not one time on short rest
I don’t know biomechanics but I am certain you don’t either but 3 days rest after throwing 120 pitches on 4 days rest is excessive. I am shocked that Paul’ handler (he can’t have an agent) is even considering letting this happen.
From a baseball perspective it is a very high probability that he will not be effective after throwing 250ish pitches over 6 days and trying to pitch again in three days. Recent example is the pitcher from Stanford that got rocked aft throwing excessive amounts in regional then super regional

He pitched Thursday night. It's Monday night. That's 96 hours (or 93 btwn games because games are 3 hours) or 4 days between games. Games don't last 24 hours. They last 3 hours.

Your days rest calculation is stupid.
Most major league pitchers get 5 days. Sometimes 6. And they are throwing less pitches

It was a response to his 3 day weekend post, it was a stupid comparison. I know how rest days are counted for pitchers, I said 4 days within the context he brought up

How to tell someone's a sociopath is by saying what I messaged (Thurs 8 pm to Monday 6 pm, being 3 days, when it is in fact much closer to 4 days) makes me a sociopath. Usually sociopaths are those who call others correct opinions as sociopathic. It's no even an opinion. Thursday 8 pm to Monday 6 pm is in fact 4 days. You're either a sociopath or very dumb if you think that is objectively 3 days.

In Baseball this is 3 days, you count the number of full days rest, not the 4th day when you pitch.
Selfish fans. The young man has millions of dollars coming his way.
When you lose and have to play one more game the pitching rotation favors the team with fewer losses.
The first loss to Wake Forest caused LSU to play one extra game.
So goes tournament baseball.

See this is you losing the argument because now you have switched to arguing the technicality of what you said. TECHNICALLY yes, that is 4 days. The difference is, that is not in any way shape or form, how ANYONE in baseball calculates "days rest", which is what you are trying to argue. Days rest in baseball is calculated from days between pitching, not including the days pitched. THAT isnt an opinion either. Its a fact. You can try to twist it anyway you want, thats just not how it works.
Time to move on kid.
