3rd & House needs to start getting more blame for this game

Daniels & Co aren’t absolved by any means but just remember the other half of the team isn’t doing their job either, arguably even worse
Atrocious 3rd down defense last year has turned into somehow even more atrocious. 9-14 on 3rd downs and that includes 3 drops by FSU so easily could’ve been 12-14 aka 85.7 frickING PERCENT
45 points & 500 yards with an entire off-season to prepare. If not for the multiple drops on 3rd down it would’ve been closer to 600 yards & more points

instead of 3rd and House, it should be "bet the house" that we gonna play a soft arse zone, and allow the WR enough cushion to get a first down.

He was terrible last night. When rushing four didn’t work, his answer was “let’s rush even less and give the qb even more time” so we rushed 3. Gave up another first down.

Bro he doesn't have the secondary to guard 1 on 1. bro that wasn’t my point. He left the corners without safety help on Coleman all night. You take your chances and stick your 2 on him and give help with a safety. Zero zone coverage as well

We did nothing to help our secondary on 3rd and long. Rushed 3 and had a spy who never rushed. Asked our secondary to hold up for 5-6 seconds.
Then on 4th and 2 we send everyone and leave them 1 on 1 to cover much bigger receivers on short routes.

Add to that: rush 3 so QB has all day to find open receivers, even on long-developing routes.
Given our liabilities in the defensive backfield, you cannot hang them out to dry by applying no pressure on the QB.

House has an nfl mentality on third down. It doesn't work with college players.

House sucked all night and made Perkins a non factor which I thought would be impossible. Very lazy coaching job by him. Teams have him figured out.

FSU has some big and bad WRs. Both 14 and 4 roasted Chestnut.
We knew the secondary was the weak link on D. So not getting pressure on QB and forcing the secondary to cover 5 secs is not going to work.
Blitz and get pressure and get his eyes down.
Poor tackling was an issue as well.
