Set It Off from Arkansas game

The crowd sounds like they hate it!

That was Epic--I had goosebumps when the stadium quoted the lyrics like Amazing Grace

The biggest problem with the band is the length and frequency of tv timeouts has gotten absurd. It’s just becoming that much more difficult to maintain any kind of atmosphere when you have a 3:00 minute tv timeout, kickoff, and another 3 minute tv timeout. I counted at least 3 of those last weekend. That’s nearly 6 straight minutes of nothingness in that stadium to fill with…SOMETHING.

I don’t hate the DJ concept, but the execution is extremely mediocre. It’s a band-aid on a bigger issue, however, which is the amount of dead time in stadiums during tv timeouts.

This is the result of the progressive, woke 1% of the LSU nation being able to impose their ideals on the rest of us because of our spineless administrators caving in

Were any European or Latin type DJs considered?

For breaks in a game an actual DJ is not required. Apps can do cross-fades. Probably same app as own computer in picture. Certainly not both a DJ and an Emcee.

I can see DJs at a club or music event where constantly playing and adjusting to what crowd is responding to, but this seems taylor made to get certain faces & “fresh energy” in magazines like this and some screen time on video boards if not tv.

Who owns the rights to the name “Kool DJ SupaMike”? It may be both the worst and the whitest part of this whole ploy.

So y’all want the LED light show, but no DJ?

People are tearing it up in the comments. The only positives I’ve read are from people who I doubt attended LSU and/or have season tickets.

I’m very curious as to what makes a DJ “woke” to you.

Sounds like everyone hates the pipped in music and Scott is going to find out real quick.

I heard that LSU was flooded with complaints about the DJ and the MC after the Grambling game, but chose to bring them both back anyway for the Arkansas game.

I don’t find that the dj is bad thing. It’s just the old people who bitch about it. These are the same people that just sit and never get loud at the games.

What idiot thought it would be a good idea to bring a DJ into tiger stadium. Everything we once enjoyed in life someone comes along and tries to take a huge shite on it. WHYYYYY

Well, that's simply not true.

I think it's silly but in the list of things I wish were improved on gameday, it's probably in the mid 500's somewhere.

My issue with having a DJ is that it further reduces the opportunity for the band to play. It seems that every year they play less and less.

IF this is still going on at the end of the season, my season tix will be up for grabs for whoever the target market is.

People are there to be ENTERTAINED. Like it or not, the tv timeouts are so excessive. So much damn dead time these days attending games. The band is sub par and athletes these days don’t get rocked up to the band like back in the day. College football is changing, some may not like it.. but it’s moving to a mini nfl model.
