I may be in the minority but I think Ruckert will be closer to 7-10 HRs next year.

It’s not about hr
They were swinging for the fences and popping up early in the season
They actually did a decent job of hitting
In sec play

Honestly he should leave. Don’t see him as a starter next year.

2 of the worst defensive catchers in last 25 years are our best power hitters in 2027. Please help them improve defensively or find a new position they can play. I have more hope for Serna as a catcher.

Not sure our lineup will be strong enough to protect Cade and Omar. They have all the exit velocity but will be pitched around and likely only hit in the teens.

It will. I have more faith in our offense than anything else. My question marks are pitching and defense not offense.

I hope everyone of you finds something in life that you are as passionate about as much as AlecRock loves home runs

I think you are high on Serna and Arrambide and low on Braun.

I could see that.

John Pearson-13
Mason Braun-10

I see Braun being 15 or so. Pearson, if he is a starter at some position or DH, may be in the same ballpark

Daniel Harden-1
Jack Ruckert-4
William Patrick-4

These three I have no real feel for, but I think that Patrick will be higher if he is a starter, which I expect. Ruckert needs to gain a little muscle, I think. I do not get the feeling Hardin will be in the lineup enough.

Armstrong agrees with me that Pearson will hit 13

He said Pearson will make the big leap offensively next season

If they both get pitched around, lsu’s offense will be elite

What is exciting about next year, even though we had to live through this season to get to it, is that guys like Braun, Serna, Arrambide, Evans, Schmidt, and a few others aren’t going to be asked to take a bigger role that they don’t already have experience doing.

Serna and Bide need to carry the offense? Okay, them and Braun have pretty much been doing that for a month now.

Evans and Schmidt will need to improve, but they’re no longer making the jump to SEC weekend starter, they’re just looking to get better in the role. Mentally, that’s a big thing.

Yeah, i think we were all worried a bit in the preseason about the staff not having top dogs but assumed evans would make the easy jump, he didnt quite, but schmidt did improve a ton. We just thought the staff was deeper and guys like guidry, sheerin, rizy, etc would carry the load, almost all of them minus sheerin failed in that regard. We all thought this team would hit, and they did, eventually, but instead of it being brown, stanfield, curiel, arrambide, and milam carrying it with the transfers, it was braun, milam, arrambide, curiel, and serna carrying it, with ruckert and patrick having some good at bats down the stretch. Lotta those guys returning minus milam and curiel. I kike our offensive core. Also think schmidt, evans, moore, paz is a nice start on the mound. Im a little less confident though with the way our staff has struggled to throw strikes, and think the whole staff, especially the bullpen needs to be re-thought, not just players, but approach, methodology of training, and pitch calling
