Never noticed that, but 2003, 2007, 2011, 2019.

Grambling is the only LA. School we haven’t played yet. Since we played Southern, we had to play Grambling. The Southern game was fun this will be too.

Really hard to make any predictions without knowing what our full roster or our opponents rosters are going to be. We're going to have to take in a lot of transfers again this year because we started they year with 71 players and we're going to lose more as well.

Odd year schedules do usually set up well for us though. Auburn, Florida, TAMU at home. We typically play better against Bama in Tuscaloosa than at home. Getting Mizzou out of the East is a pretty decent draw compared to Tennessee this year.

It's hard for me to pencil in FSU as a win though after this year and seeing how they've looked the last few games. Plus we just never seem to play well against them for whatever reason so it's a situation of I'll believe it when I see it.

5 straight SEC games, THEN a cupcake, then a bye.

Who set this up? How about break it up a little.

Not one poster can list a game besides Bama or A&M that we won’t be big favorites in

Please elaborate on which ones are “Toss ups”? And remember we will have more talent and depth next year

If Jordan Travis returns, FSU is definitely a toss up and we could very well be an underdog. We were also 10 point favorites against A&M, so being favorited to win games preseason doesn’t really mean much to me. FSU, Auburn, Florida, Tennessee, Alabama, Arkansas, and A&M were all "toss-ups" this year. Other teams will have more talent and depth too. LSU is not the only team that will improve.

Why do you say that?

QB is coming back
Entire offensive line is back
Two All SEC caliber receivers are back (Thomas and Nabors)
RBs are back

Basically the offense returns.

Interior DL might lose Roy but gains Maason Smith.
Edge guys lose Ojulari. Everyone else, including an improved Perkins, comes back.
Penn and Tolan are back at LB
Secondary will be a work in progress, but so it was this year.

And just as Perkins, and several other young players, asserted themselves this year, so will a handful next year.

None of the SECW games are gimmes anymore.

Sure they are. We will be 7+ favorites over every SEC team not named Bama and maybe A&M

A lot of those games are toss ups. We need to worry about starting off strong against FSU.

You sound like every stupid frick that says we’re gonna blowout Arkansas and A&M every year and not to worry about Florida and Auburn because they aren’t that good this year guys. And then we either lose to them or barely win. They’re divisional opponents that you can never count as a win until it’s over. You sound like a 8 year old, and that goes for the majority of your awful takes

Let's wait and see what we get from portal and if any true freshman offer contributions like this year. Also would be interesting to know who our starting QB will be. If Daniels comes back and shows improvement w his decision making in the passing game then I can see good results for 2023. However, it's way too early to speculate now. I like the way you're thinking....

I'm not sure why you are automatically counting FL State and Ole Miss as wins. Both games on the road amd both of those teams will be better next season. Those two are far from automatics.

We will need a much better passing game to win all those

JD has enough starts to show that he won’t be a gunslinger. Grateful for his service this year as we’d probably be 6-6 or 7-5 without his experience.

We need Howard to step up bigly and for Holly to be a STUD rusher.
