Fully expect another 8-4/9-3 season pending the result of the bowl game. I will believe the hype when I see it on the field.

So you believe we get worse?

Nah

Even the most loyal of fans would get restless if we did worse this season.

I am simply setting my expectations low. I say we have a relatively difficult SEC stretch between the Florida and Bama game, not to mention probably facing a stronger A&M team and @Texas to start the season. Could easily lose 3-4 games in that window.

I think having Florida, Auburn and A&M at home helps.

3 losses would be a big disappointment

The schedule should be a non issue.

But we aren't in the big 12...The SEC is by far the best conference in the country EVERY year......

That's what I'm saying Peej. The schedule should be a non issue when comparing seasons.

I disagree with this championship or bust mentality every year.

Me too bro.. alabama’s success (and domination of LSU) has everyone jaded

I guess the question would then be, how many of those seasons can you have in a row with no hardware to show and get away with it?

This is a fair question that I don’t have the answer to tbh...

I have no clue. What does that matter? I'm not sure where you're going with this.

Most of A&M’s starting defense last year were seniors. Jimbo has a tougher job this year than last.

That may be a good thing.
Their run defense may take a step back but i cant see their pass defense getting much work. They were 62nd in opponents yards per play because of that pass defense.

Ive heard someone say how tough implement a new offense is and year 2 should be better.

They also lose Trayveon Williams on offense. Plus we got em at home

Lot of seniors on that defense last year, and two key juniors on the offense bailed.

Can't be that hard PJ, I heard on tRant some grass eating buffoon in a goofy hat won 11+ games 5 of his first 7 years in the SEC.

Oh i agree but i cant see that pass defense being worse than they were last year. Losing seniors on defense isn't always a death sentence.

Three out of four starting DL. That’s a big hit. Especially when one is Daylon Mack.

They had a hell of a run defense last year. They'll definitely be rebuilding.

But fortunately for them they catch us late in the year.
