2 regular season losses would be a let down.

Yeah. You would like that you negative bastard. You want LSU to lose, don't you?

If only he were as talented as D Haskins.

Imagine if either could complete a pass to a receiver 40 yards down the field on purpose and not accidentally.

I guarantee if Miles were the coach last year he would've won the title.

We pretty much agree in every facet. If it weren't for "max protect" and similar blocking schemes to make up for our lack of pass pro, I think the offense would've been better last year. Whether people want to admit this or not, it's the truth. Pass pro schemes limited the use of playmakers.

I honestly thought it would take 3 years (starting from last year) to get things pretty good on the OL. We are in year two and it's still an issue, as I thought it would be. What I didn't consider was the hiring of Joe Brady. He was a pleasant surprise. And I agree that the 2 step/quick drops will help with protection. Getting Ingram back will help a lot, too.

Also wish the light would've came on for Traore last year- and hope his injury isn't anything serious. If the light comes on it changes a few things.. especially if Ingram comes back.

My record is 11-1 at best and hopefully no worse than 10-2. I'm leaning to another 10-2 year.. Just to be realistic. I hope like hell I'm wrong.

Ricky, did you immediately think of Peej when the players looked to the sideline on the first play of the Spring Game? I literally laughed out loud and thought to myself "oh Peej won't like that."

Yes you were........ Bring it............ You are kinda fun to play with.......... 10-2....There it is............... they will NOT beat Bama........... And lose to somebody they should beat....

This team has a ton of talent... BUT.. Unless you are Bama, you can't count on 11 wins playing an SEC schedule..........

I had a thread started with the title....." why are these players so confused?" But only a few posters would get it.

This is exactly how I feel. It takes a pretty special season to not lose at least one game you aren't supposed to and Coach O has never done that to my knowledge. It's not really a knock on him, not many coaches have been able to do it.

I probably would have pissed myself. It's going to be a Chernobyl style meltdown for Peej of they come out doing that vs Georgia Southern.

Our only regular season loss should be bama. At this point ill take having a lead against bama for a single second as progress. Its been 3 years since we have led bama for a single second.

I don't understand the downvotes. You are absolutely right. People act like they don't want to consider the facts, and haven't read or watched anything concerning LSU.. AT ALL.

Don't get me wrong, I hope like hell we win it all. But the truth is our OL isn't really good yet. We have unproven RBs execept for Clyde (who danced too much last year,) and the CB position lacks experienced depth.

It's not a bad thing to be realistic about the situation instead of setting yourself up for disappointment.

These "Championship or bust" people are beyond my comprehension. They must not read or listen to a damn thing the coaches say. LOL

Rohan Davey said on AFR today that he expects the offense to be a well oiled machine or some cliche like that very early. So, we'll see what happens.

Maybe it's the fact the no one that gets paid to evaluate talent has lsu has anything but one of the 6-8 most talented rosters in cfb.

Or maybe the fact that the common mantra during the last regime was that the we had as much talent as any team in cfb not named bama and then O was hired,we got manhandled by a mid major for homecoming and the rozy finch boyz started talking about a rebuild when just a month earlier O publicly proclaimed lsu a playoff team.
