I accidentally downvoted while on my phone.

Chris Reid didn't go to Bishop Sullivan HS because there is no Bishop Sullivan HS in BTR. St. Michael, bro! :-)

I'm also interested in which ones to look out for. I don't follow baseball recruiting like I do basketball and football but I know we are going to have a fairly young team, especially in the field, and I'm wondering who will/should make an immediate impact.

Infield should see some sophomores and transfers...

C - Papierski (So)
3B - Deichmann (So)
SS - Dawson (Fr)
2B - Robertson (Jr)
1B - Adams (Jr - Tr)

Outfield will see plenty of different combinations, but I'll go with...

LF - Duplantis (Fr)
CF - Fraley (Jr)
RF - Be. Jordan (So)

DH - Br. Jordan (So; C/INF), Ducote (Jr - Tr; OF), Freeman (Jr - Tr; INF), Romero (Jr - Tr; C)

And of course, any of these 4 will play the field plenty early as well with others taking the DH spot.

Is Dawson the kid that's supposed to come in and be pretty good? I thought I read somewhere a while back that we had a kid coming in that could play the middle infield immediately and be a serviceable hitter his first year.

Just curious, is LSU still using this name in their press releases or did you make the change yourself?

A lot of new names in the lineup. Hopefully we have a few new guys step up and be leaders because our starting rotation will be lights out.

Then they are just a hair behind....that school was renamed St. Michael in 2005.

Considering that most of the time the best player on the high school team is a shortstop, we should be recruiting a bunch of them. Doesn't mean they stay at short.

Played ducote in juco past couple years. He is not a catcher, plays right field. Not sure why it had him listed as that.

Sure. But none of them are a top 300 prospect so it goes to Kramer.
