2015: new year, same story

Once again, devastating loses of underclass men and Jennings at qb. No way we'll beat bama at their place. Mediocre bowl. Don't see anything else happening. Miles could shake things up but he won't.

We lost Collins, who we suspected would leave because he was passed up by underclassmen, we expected Kwon and Hunter to leave.

None of those three are devastating......so please clarify.

Bookmarked for win we win at least 11 regular season games and are in final 4 playoff contention. 11-1 may be good enough to get in, that's why I like this new system.

Eh. He may be depressing but if you take what he says with a grain of salt he isn't wrong.

Again, we lose players who received return to school grades.
Jalen Collins leaving
Kwon Alexander leaving
Danielle Hunter leaving

Not sure, but Jalen Mills hasn't officially said he was staying(could be incorrect).
Vadal hasn't declared yet either.

So far that leaves us losing 3 off a defense that was the only reason we were in as many games as we were before.

Jennings completed less than 50% of his passes for atrocious stats. There's no point in recruiting 5 star wife receivers if you can't get them the ball. Couple that with losing our All-Star DC to a divisional foe doesn't bode well. Running 50 times a game isn't going to get us to 11 wins.

IF we can get decent QB play (200 yards a game 1-2 touchdowns), get Vadal and Mills back, find a suitable DC, then we stand a chance to be competitive. It's January. Kick off isn't till the end of August/beginning of September. Whole offseason of ups and downs to go through. No point in hypothesizing now.

Jim, I have no idea what LSUs record will be next year in football and neither do you. We are not alone. However if you truly feel this way perhaps you should seriously look at your life.Every good fan should be somewhat hopeful for next year regardless what has happened before. I hope you are young, but I have no idea and don't care. If you are young and live a long life, you will see that the teams you support will have losing records from time to time and miss the 8-5 years. Perhaps you are a front runner and just follow a team that wins constantly...give me examples because I am curious. The advantage of being a front runner is that you can change at anytime.

Harris may win the starting position.

One of the Ohio State QBs may choose LSU.

LSU seems to be on the short list for some top players and already has 4 five star commits. if you get 4 five star commits every year, you will win a lot of games and maybe win then all.

Another DT would be nice, and another high end dual threat QB, high school or transfer, thank you.

LSU would have beat Bama with a mediocre QB if the punt were called correctly. it never came within a foot of the line. They showed it a few times. The announcers said a ref out of position overruled the correct call by a ref with a clear view.

I would like Ed O, because I like his personal style and he seems to be a great recruiter. I am antsy that there is no DC and LSU lost a recruit to Oregon, in the interim.

LSU cannot possibly win 11 games with Jennings at QB. He's a good kid, works hard, accepts responsibility. Physically, he just can't be much better. Harris needs to win the job...but he won't.

Things we need to happen to win it all in my opinion:
1. Harris is handed the keys to the offense. This is most important.
2. Fournette plays like we all expect him too (Heisman Winner)
3. Find a good DC not only to our defense, but for recruiting (could help us land Jamal Peters and Iman Marshall which would be huge)
4. Travonte Valentine is good enough to start over Christian LaCature
5. Vandal Alexander returns to school
6. Deon Jones steps up to replace Kwon.
7. Kevin Toliver catches on quick to replace Robinson.
8. Jamal Adams becomes the best safety in college football.
9. Our Defensive ends step up BIG TIME. Shit, even Hunter only had 1.5 sacks. Not acceptable.
10. Jacob Coker turns out to suck.

Miller may transfer here.

Golson may transfer here.

Lewis (Caleb) may turn out to be Manziel Pt.2

Rettig may hate the cold of New Jersey and transfer back here.

Shea Patterson commits to LSU.

All the doom and gloomers expect us to take them seriously yet saying Jennings will be QB no matter what else, is the most asinine thing you could post.

All this "absolute" bull shite is just loser fans throwing in the towel before the game is here so they won't be let down. I might as well give my own "absolutes" since everybody else is.

- We get a great DC hire
- Our defense is actually much better in 2015 than it was in 2014 way more turnovers, way more sacks, no giving the game away on the final drive
- Cam will have Harris ready to lead a high powered LSU attack from game one
- Fournette will break many LSU rushing records yards in a single game, yards in a single season, yards per carry (single season), single season rush TDs, single season total TDs, 100 yard rushing games in a season, consecutive 100 yard rushing games in a season
- We go no less than 11-1 in the regular season
- We go to the playoffs

Sooooo, we need to play real good, while the other team doesn't.... Thanks for the great information
