I'm pretty sure we're under contract to play TCU for the 2013 opener(in TX.)

I'm with you. Tuck foolame!!

We do not need them, they need us to bail their sorry asses out every few years. I am tired of seeing those sorry turds, and I personally hope we NEVER EVER play them again in football, or anything else for that matter.

Officials at LSU and Tulane are talking about playing a football game against each other in the Mercedes-Benz Superdome in 2013, sources at both schools confirmed Saturday.
The game could be a season opener but the sources said there are many hurdles to cross before it becomes reality, not the least of which is LSU is still working on a conference schedule format. With the SEC adding Texas A&M and Missouri next season, the league is still considering a nine-game league schedule starting in 2013.

In the 98 games played, LSU holds a 69-22-1 edge.

Texas A & M said the same thing. I know not the same situation with conference expansion but Aggies seem thrilled to be in the SEC, LSU or not.

frick playing at Tulane. They don't deserve it. If they want to play LSU, they can come on down to Baton Rouge like every other small Louisiana college does.

Why should LSU fans support Tulane's athletic budget with dollars out of our own budget?

Idea: invite the Southern band to play at halftime when the visitors don't bring a band. Pay them $50,000 + expenses so we help them out and have a great halftime show. I would stay in my seat for that intermission.

This, and it's being worked out to open the 2013 season in the Dome with LSU.

The last time we played Tulane in the Dome, we won a crystal ball.

That season.

I would be for the idea of rotating Louisiana Colleges every year...Like ScottieP said.."pay southern, they need the money" plus it's a great halftime show.Play ULL,ULM,Tulane,Southern,Grambling on a rotating basis.

Who cares about supporting Furman,or App State?
