I did not go but I remember feeling the electricity through the screen.....Thought I was going to faint when JC Copeland took off for a 30+ yd run.

I will go back and look at the highlights every now and then, that Jarvis Landry TD was cray......

Absolutely, was sitting in the student section and from kickoff til TJ Yeldon ripped our hearts out, that place was ON FIRE!

good gawd man. are you a masochist? HFS! yep. one pass from mett for a 1st down seals game. nope. our idiot coach runs it thrice, missed a FG then poor chavis gets all the blame because he cannot shut down a potent offense all game.

Was a student, the Copeland catch and run leading into the fourth quarter and the entire sideline emptying to the student section still gives me chills to this day.

Have the reverse feeling whenever Yeldon was running what felt like night in my face for them to win it. Sat there for like 45 minutes after the game was so bummed.

I was at that game. I was only 14 at the time, but I knew that atmosphere was different than anything I had ever experienced in my life. You could feel the energy in the air! To this day I don't know if I've ever been to a game with that kind of atmosphere.

I also remember Met to Odell and Jarvis was unstoppable. When we ran Hill up the middle 3 times after a drive with 0 incompletions just to miss a field goal I could not believe it.

After suffering through the Jordan Jefferson 2011 offense, I was so excited to have what felt like an unstoppable air attack. I think even at 14 I had enough football sense to know if Les couldn't get it done with that QB and WR duo we weren't going to win any more Natties with him.

Yeah, most intense pregame I can remember. Was in the student section. Russell Shepard chunked a ball into the student section during warmups and I remember our drunk asses being excited saying “HE THREW A PASS!!”

It’s the game that solidified the national sports media’s love affair with Saturday Nights in Death Valley.

Not at all. I bought tickets for my sons a few weeks ago. I am excited to be there for this one and expect the atmosphere to eclipse the 2012 game.....

Yes, it was phenomenal. 2022 Bama was similar with one of the all-time great endings.

Im sorry but Craig Loston was always so bad and over rated. Honey badger makes that play I'm convinced.

Completely isolating the play alone within the moment, the Copeland play down the sideline might be my favorite play in LSU history. That was the loudest I remember hearing the stadium.

The passing game with Mettenberger , Landry and OBJ was unstoppable the second half , LSU gets down to about the 30 and that jackass runs it 4 times in a row .

Should have thrown the slant to Odell or Jarvis in 3 and 6 to end the game

I was working at LSU at that time and was able to sit with the recruits behind the LSU bench for that game. Until we beat Bama in 2022 in overtime, that game was my favorite and most intense experience in Tiger Stadium. It was rocking!
