You hit the nail on the head here! We chose Varenna because that is where the train station is. We are travelling by train to all of our destinations. Hoping the train rides add to the experience instead of making the travel feel like time lost.
Yes, in Ortisei we are hiking the Seceda Ridgeline and Alpe di Susi. It's my understanding that these are the two most recommended hikes in the area to appreciate the beauty of the Dolomites.
Yes I am! I'm more so looking for recommendations on the best things to do/see and good places to eat in each location.

For example, in Ortisei I'm looking at hiking the Seceda Ridgeline and Alpe di Susi. In Florence we are visiting the Uffizi and the Duomo.

Other than that, I really have not nailed anything specific down. I was curious if anyone had any stand out experiences they would recommend from their travels to any of these locations.
Hey everyone, long time lurker and first time poster here!

My fiancé(no pics) and I are getting married in July and will be going to Italy for our honeymoon.

We have stops in Florence, Ortisei, Varenna, Montessero, and Milan. We will spend 2 - 3 days in each location except for Milan which is just one night.

I have booked all travel including plane and train tickets as well as hotels months ago. Now I am looking into activities and restaurants at each location to really narrow down what we are going to do while over there.

I was curious if any of the more experienced travelers on this board have any must do's they would recommend at any of our stops. Thanks in advance for any advice!
