I like it. But probably because over the years of reading this board I have learned that the majority's opinion on this board is usually wrong. So I can just take the opposite view and be right.

It wouldn't shock me if the only home night games were Western Kentucky and Northwestern St.

Heres a cute little stanza one of our freshmen in English 1001 wrote about our football team! And then our freshmen 1001 graphic designer spent a little time in word editing those awesome fonts! O yeah, its for football?! Well I guess we'll throw in a hazy picture of the stadium in the background and the schedule in tiny hazy print around this outstanding masterpiece!

Really not that hard to read. It is sorta a poem, but it's not exactly Longfellow. You could say it is just normal prose, and not be wrong.

I think it is cool. i like posters with the stadium on it. I liked to one wiht PP7 on it but i think this one is more team, and community oriented, Death Valley is everything that LSU football. It is every player, and every fan. I think it is good.

Wath the video posted earlier in which the "poem" is recited and then let us know if you still have the same opinion of what was written. I agree it could have been arranged better, but the words are fine.

It's a poem with sideways writing in different sizes of font. It's MORE DIFFICULT to read, and the impact is lost with the trouble it takes to comprehend it and understand the "flow" they used.

Essentially, its a total piece of shite.

I'm with you. I'm too dumb to read it all without getting a headache.

the publications office manages to win more than their fair share of national awards - think of the poster with the promotional video - very effective.

I liked last years and I like this years... it is different and it is damn good... but that's just my two cents.

I will give them a "A" for effort. I like the idea of what they were wanting to do. But they get a huge "F" for execution. That thing is just too damn busy. Overall its the worst poster in memory for me.
