Les miles this loss and 2013 loss were insanely bad game plans and clock management

We had the stupidest mf in college football on our sideline as the head coach. That’s how.

That whole last drive should go down as a how to on what not to do.

That was painful to watch. Guess I mentally blocked that out

Only Les Miles clock management could accomplish that daunting task.

Les let the clock run down either arguing with Crowton over the play call or to set up the Hail Mary as the final play. Didn’t even consider it being caught short of the end zone.

This is the most egregious thing he did that night and it doesn’t seem to get talked about a lot. They waited until they almost had to take a delay of game to call their last timeout before the 4th and very long.

Had they used the timeout just 5 seconds earlier they would have had time to spike the ball and kick a field goal.

This happened alot under Less even before that game. Go back and watch last minute of Auburn 2007...caught the game winner with 1 or 2 seconds on the clock. The worst game clock manager ever.

I legit thought Les was going to have to be fired due to losing the team after that debacle. It was that bad.

We wasted 45 seconds with terrible play calling and confusion, then Les directly told JJ to spike the ball with :01 left.

It was bizarre. I was a freshman that year. The PP7 interception that wasn't and the Ole Miss spike really set the tone for LSU football that year.

It was a typical Les late season meltdown after losing to bama.

I was there that night. The first of my 3 trips to Oxford.

We stopped at a gas station on the way out of town after the game. ALL the LSU fans were buying beer for the drive home LOL.

Every single one of them wanted to fire Les Miles that night.

He deserved to be fired. He should have been let go after the game.

And the Tigers were within FG range on the Ole Miss 32 yard line with a first down with less than a minute to go.

And 2 timeouts.

Found a LINK to the entire game if you can stomach it. Link goes to our last possession.

Jefferson had some terrible pocket presence there at the end (and just in general). Geez.

i was done with LessMiles after that. he never knew how to control the clock.

the Tennessee game in Tiger stadium also shows his inept management of the clock though luck would give LSU the win.

I kicked back this morning and watched the entire game on YouTube. The last 1:17 of the game was certainly the nadir of Les Miles' career at LSU. What was he thinking?

It was interesting to see the commercials for the now-controversial The Blindside, starring a really bodacious Sandra Bullock as Leigh Ann Tuohy.
