Monday off is understandable, but taking a second day off feeds into the party school image.

You mean worse than Joe Alleva and F King as figure heads? Because the two of them did more to harm LSU nationally in just about every respect than two days off for a national event. People like you need to get away from the school so we can have a return to a collectiveness and pride in the university as a whole. We’re all tired of so many having anti LSU sentiments.

Idiotic take. There are student tickets and student athletes and night classes that conflict. It is understood many students will be traveling for game and the university encourages this support. How can they do that yet at the same time be encouraging students to miss class?
This is a major event for the university, on a monday night. The logical thing to do is hold off.

You millennials are soft, having said that, I would have probably taken the whole week off if we had been in this type game during my years at LSU..85
