This is essentially what they have done. Its hard to imagine the water cooling enough by running the keel, but looks well-designed in person. Id sure like to read about some real world test results. I havent seen much on these all Summer.

I attended this DUX event (specifically to see this motor) and spoke to them in a fair amt of detail about the motor, cooling system and a few other inquiries I had. Have photos and video but not sure how to share here. I will say the cooling system is innovative and the motor is very quiet. This may indeed be the beginning of the end of mud motors as we know them. Did not discuss price, but frankly that didnt matter to me as I am already sold on these.

Current Dominance of LSU Athletics

So, I heard the play by play guy roll through an update on the current dominance of LSU in NCAA athletics and they went too quick for me to recall but was curious if anyone else caught that list? It was pretty insanely impressive - Mens Baseball - ranked #1, Womens Basketball - Playing for Natty tomorrow, Womens Track/Field - ranked #1, Mens Track/Field - ranked #2, Gymnastics - Advanced to NCAA Regional Finals… then they rattled off a bunch more sports that I can’t recall (beach volleyball, womens golf etc etc. Does anyone have a full list of the current sheer athletic dominance? That would make an impressive post.

Final Four Tickets

Curious as to any advice for the best way to get Final Four tickets for Friday in Dallas. Looked at Stubhub, and it is hard to determine which game time you are buying for - your current choices are (1) NCAA Women's Final Four Semi Finals 31 Mar 2023 • TBA or (2) NCAA Women's Final Four All Session or (3) NCAA Women's Final Four Championship Game 02 APR 2023. I was hoping someone might have navigated these waters before and could provide some guidance on how to get tickets for the right game on Fri eve (7p or 9p) and also if it is smart to buy natty tickets ahead of time and if LSU loses, put them back on the market for sale...? Thanks for any advice.

Yes. I would add this to the above list posted on 02/04/23 by AlwysATgr, if possible. I think having a good working list of linked sources of information is helpful for the amateur sleuths monitoring this page. As I mentioned before, my son attended the memorial last Friday in Covington and I have photos of the handout the family gave. I offered to post it here, but just dont know how to post photos and there didnt seem to be much interest, either. It has information about the Foundation they are setting up for her. I am happy to share that with anyone interested.
And perhaps the Admins can make AlwysATgr's post a sticky at the top of this thread. Again, it is a good list of pertinent informational sources in this case - rather than reading all 350+ pages.

Good list. I think you should add the podcast that was noted somewhere back in this thread where a rape victim (or two?) of the Washington guy reached out to them. I will try to find that link, but I thought it was a good listen.
I have photos of her funeral handout if anyone is interested. My son attended. I dont know how to upload photos.

Another vote for August. Definitely best for your anniversary and location imho. Another favorite of mine is Gautreau's, excellent for special occasion but its uptown and not super close to Girod.

I agree with your final point. I do not see the benefit from writing that statement if he isn’t planning to stay. Perhaps there is some sort of internal benefit (NIL, etc?), but either way, it could have been less ambiguous imho.
If he isnt responding to any the congratulatory posts on Twitter as mentioned above, isnt that kinda unusual? If someone sees anything from him that is conclusive, please post it. I am not on Twitter myself. Im just a little hesitant to buy off into this based solely on that ambiguous letter and in light of the apparent “issues” with him/attitude in the recent past.
I have to agree. That letter is very ambiguous and appears to almost purposefully be so. There are several chances for him to be conclusive and just say “I am staying another year”, but he never goes to that level of full commitment. It leaves a side door open, to me. Downvote if you want, but im a fan and would be much more comfortable with something more conclusive. Hopefully, we will get that.
