LSU needs to sack up and sweep Alabama this weekend

If LSU takes 2/3 they're still 1.5 games behind Alabama.

And I’m going to think it’s possible all the way up to gm 3 when we go to the bullpen. At that point I expect to lose all hope

I think RPI is less important of a tool this year considering some conferences played different than normal schedules. Probably works against us. I think SECT performance might matter more than it normally does.

Fairfield is 32-1 RPI of 4 and SOS 143 and is projected as 3 seed

13 win SEC team hasn’t got in in 10 + years. Not saying it can’t happen, but odds aren’t good. Should read 14 wins in, 13 wins not

Woody told Emmert Mainieri is retiring. 4-2 in the last 6 and 2 wins in the tournament and we are good.

It’s exactly why he says 14 YES and 12 NO because those #s guarantees and 13 is on the fence but more than likely a NO

And this is why most of what he says is right, because everyone already knew this. I’m even more sure that 15 wins gets us in and 11 does not.

Not true at all.

2019 Florida 13-17
2019 Mizzou 13-16 (out)
2018 Texas A&M 13-17
2018 Kentucky 13-17 (out)
2017 South Carolina (out)
2015 Auburn 13-17
2015 South Carolina (out)

Based on this small sample size, 13 regular season wins should put LSU on the bubble but in. It looks like historically, the SEC West gets a slight bump, probably related to SoS and RPI.

Based on everything that has happened this season, the team is incapable of a 3 game sweep.

Because 12 and 14 are easy to say “see I was right”. 13 you gotta stick your neck out for, something whimpy sports writers rarely do.

Or.....maybe he's just pointing out that if you win 14, you are surely going to get in, and if you win 12, you surely will not get in, and if you win 13 then it can go either way.

Why are you morons butt hurt about this? Why does he have to definitely tell you what happens if we win 13 when no one knows what will happen for that scenario since there is no clear cut precedent for it?

No we’re not. We’re capable but have either not executed, made poor coaching decisions, or both to screw it up. We’re certainly capable of sweeping. Not having done it doesn’t mean we’re incapable of doing it

All I can say if LSU better sweep Bama and hope MSU does as well. Otherwise they will get in.

If we have 13 wins we are in, I am as sure of it as I can be. I dont know how this team sweeps anyone, so the 13 and in lifeboat is the one I am climbing in.

We don't have to sweep anybody to get to 13.
