These statements add drama and build curiosity. Like the old People's Court, where Doug Llewelyn emphasizes, "What you're witnessing is real, the people are not actors."

My God, literally everything negative in this world is because Orgeron is LSU’s Head football coach with you

I rember hearing it more 10-15 years ago but it has been fairly common on both radio and TV for a long time. Almost always before "Paid Programming" type shows.

Hanagriff and Moscona are the two most likely to say something slamming Orgeron so Gordy is being a good little gobbler and covering himself.

Isn't it weird and creepy as hell how totalitarian Orgeron and the administration are over our terrible coach?

Boat ... in all fairness if you were being a douche to me on twitter, I'd block you too...twice. And if there was a radio show so slanted on hating on me as a coach....I'd do what I could to have you not only operate with a "disclosure", but I'd lobby to have you fired from your job. So its not unreasonable.

Hanagrift and Ott figured they would be famous and with a national show by now

"the views and opinions of these show's hosts ..." it should read

It's because of all the tin foil hats.

They need to get the 1's with antennas, it helps filter out almost 100% of the B.S. floating on the air waves these days.

That disclaimer is old and commonly played on many radio talk shows. I first heard it over 25 years ago on a Mississippi radio station prior to a segment of the Rush Limbaugh show.

It’s not old ON THAT STATION, you nimrod. It’s something they’ve just begun the past few months, that’s why the OP was asking.

I was told it was due to the Stephen A Smith show. It has not been well received here and the station got many complaints. They replaced the last hour if his show with Will Cain.

Hence the disclaimer.

Which is sad. I can listen to Screaming A for a segment if he's not talking about the NBA or race relations. Will Cain on his own is a human sleeping pill. I tried to listen to his show a few times and there is just nothing there.

That's pretty common for every opinion type show both for radio and TV. It's just a disclaimer in case one of the hosts says something stupid...that way the station can say "we're not racist. just our host is racist and we fired him. don't hate us please and you can't sue us for it because we said he doesn't reflect our views."

They broker some of the time. Which H&O are paying there own money for an hour or so and selling ads on their own. Particularly Ott's live reads.
