Agreed, I love them, but they get off the trail on their war/football stories. 95% of the listening audience didn't play at their level. Just less war stories and that would be great. More breaking down film and X's and O's.

I guess I'm the one person who likes them together. But it is much better during football season, I'll admit.
This was the same when T-Bob was there, but more juvenile. And it seems to be the general format of sports radio morning shows nowadays.
For my money, Hunt has the best actual content on 104.5, and a lot of folks here hate him for some reason.

When TBob was on the first hour was LSU talk or national current events. The Star Wars talk didn’t really start until hour 3.
But now, the first hour of OTB seems to be just generic talk and that is when most of the listeners are listening in their cars on their way to work.

Yea but it’s a morning radio show not a podcast. You’re getting a new audience every 20 minutes you’ve got to recap constantly. I drive to work from 7:20-7:45 and o don’t want to listen to Hibachi discussion and commercials the whole time.

I was thinking the same thing. The day after LSU makes a football head coach hire and they are bullshitting about hibachi among other things. They spent maybe 10 minutes at the most on LSU

Even more reason to shake it up. You need someone with that type of talent to be able to fill up a show like that. I mean its a big morning show for the flagship university. Both guys are good in their own reasons individually, but you cant have both guys with similar personalities like they do. You need someone to play off of that.

Hunt, hands down, is the best on 104.5 and its not particularly close. His takes are spot on, and he speaks with passion as a fan but not as a homer. Wish he was on in the mornings.
Hester and Flynn spend way too much time talking about their glory days.....and their desire to have Tommy Moffat back is insufferable.

Agreed. I listen to their podcast and skip probably 75% of it because it is them just bullshitting.

It is pretty obvious if you listen regularly they do zero preparation. They just wing 99% of the time.
