It’s clear that Jones isn’t the same hitter without Tommy White in the lineup. Dickinson really hasn’t been the hitter we needed him to be.

Left 11 on base, including bases loaded twice... no timely hitting, no extra base hits, Jones striking out too many times, etc. JJ likes to play the analytics game, so time to make some changes in the batting order and with personnel!

It really sucks to lose the series, but the hitting overall was less anemic than the run production. We out-hit Auburn but couldn’t strike with the bases loaded twice. If one or two at-bats go differently, everyone’s attitude shifts. Hopefully they step it up tomorrow and salvage a win.

Jones is having his best year of his career without Tommy White so not sure how you get that conclusion.

It is disappointing to see LSUs lineup once again struggle big time under Jay in SEC play while you got teams like Arkansas, Texas, UGA and Tennessee that can knock the shite out of the ball against anybody whether they win or lose.
