It's the offensive lines inability to open running lanes and sustain blocks on deep routes. We have to scheme around this. It's why we struggle in the low red; no one respects our ability to run. Bama kept their safeties back all night because our running game suxx. Kiffin doesn't want to throw all these short and intermediate routes. We have no choice.

Year two quarterbacks under Lane are elite. And he knows what fixes we need. Sure, this game was disappointing, but we are much more competitive week and week out than we were before Lane arrived and the O is dynamic. Good things ahead.

I actually think it’s Leavit’s inability to find wide open WR’s when he needs to, but only in important games.

Almost like he’s getting paid to do it.

He will be much better next year when he has a beat more time to throw.

No. They don't trust Leavitt throwing down field

He missed them but the defense was in his face all night. The interior Oline is the weak link.

Bama had a grand total of 2 rushing yards more than us. We lost by a lot because Sam couldnt finish drives

Did Lane make Trinnidad or did Trinnidad make Lane?

This. The plays are there to be made. Our pro players aren’t doing their part.

Sam definitely needs to improve his field reading ability. All the stats say that's exactly what happens for year 2 QBs under Lane.

You are correct imho about the OL and inability for receivers to run routes, but the constant running between the guards in every game and not gaining anything is just a wasted play. We aren't good enough to wasted plays, have receivers drop first down passes, and have ST that are just plain pathetic in all areas..
I think our team is poorly coaches....Oline especially, ST a disaster, OC a worse disaster which falls on LK imho.
This is a 7-5 team sadly....we deserve more being the 4th ranked NIL team.

I agree the offensive line is fricking terrible with the exception of two players the Center who is averaged to good and the left tackle who was outstanding, but we’ve had this issue every fricking year for the last five or six years and we hear about how it’s going to be better than next year and it’s the same we might as well have politicians coach coaching this fricking team

y'all keep parrotting this stupid stuff and ignoring the OL getting blown up so he doesn't have time. He isn't checking down for fun. He largely makes good throws down field when the OL isn't shite.

You aren't wrong, but the o is definitely more dynamic under Lane. I think we see a big improvement in line play next season.

I’m willing to trust Lane for next year. I’ll hold back and wait until next season before I render a verdict. I don’t have much faith in some of our talent though.
