A lot of it was Sloan. But BK wasn’t innocent. He failed the entire coaching staff.

BK kept hiring idiots.
He was throwing darts blindfolded letting other opinions / rhetoric guide him.
No HC capable of evaluating an assistant would make Sloan an OC. Same goes for Stein.

I've seen that disappearing 2nd half offense trick before. I just can't remember where ?

At the end of the day, BK is responsible for the team. However, if you believe a lot of the local media, Woodward was forcing hires on BK. Part of me thinks he became resentful towards Woodward because of that and just kind of said "f it" and that's how we got Sloan.
Sloan is a terrible coordinator though. I didn't get to watch the game as closely as I would've liked, it was more background noise. The fact UK only has 10 points on offense (they got a TD on a int return for a TD iirc) says a lot about his abilities, if last year wasn't enough of a statement. Sloan is probably a decent QB coach but he should not be a coordinator. At least not at this point in his career. Will Stein hiring Sloan as his OC at Kentucky was a strange hire to me. Our offense under him was terrible when we didn't have JD to scramble around and make plays.

Sloan as a QB coach is great. If all he has to do is work with the QBs and work on their mechanics and vision and decision making then he's perfect for that role
As an OC though, when you have to be involved in play design that includes all 11 on the field, playcalling that requires a feel for the game and sequencing, and adjusting to the opposing defenses, you're gonna have a bad time if Sloan is your guy in charge of all that.
Stein was a great OC himself. I find it hard to believe he will witness for himself Sloan's ability or lack thereof at these aspects of the job and allow him to continue with it all the way through the season. He will take over playcalling sometime midway through the season, don't be surprised if that happens by the time our game comes around in about a month. Blake Baker will eat him alive if Sloan is still running the offense by then.

I don’t see how you put any blame on Bo Bordelon.
