Our WRs are not very good outside of Watkins to an extent and Green (TE I know but used like a receiver) who is now injured to some degree and most likely misses at minimum the next two games. Leavitt needs mechanical work and the line is operating on 2 cylinders. Coming back like that in a tough environment was huge. I had us at 9-3 this season. Which is much better than 2025. I still think 2027 is our year to make a legit champ run

The roster was put together quickly.

Lane will get the guys he needs.

LSU will be alright. I trust LK over BK.

Leavitt’s ball trajectory has got to improve. DL hands in the air are batting ‘em too much.

The problem is the QB, not the WRs. He missed 2 TD passes in the 1st half alone. He's not an accurate passer. He made one pass all night. His 1st instinct is to run. Ole Miss knew this & was ready. He is the exact opposite of Nuss in many ways. He does play hard, but I can't see him winning many close games with his arm. But the team was not ready on the 1st half. That's on the coaches, especially Baker.

He dropped some perfect passes in the game I saw in person the other week. LSU has plenty of them on the current roster. Start some more leavitt threads.

Watkins is good but he has been the only somewhat consistent WR so far this season.

Nope. We had guys open all night. A QB who either won’t throw or can’t hit the broad side of a bark with a football was our biggest passing game problem.

QB play will improve next year and we will get better receivers.

The biggest play Jackson Harris made was the pass interference on the last drive

They need to get Harris the ball in space. Dude can move.

Leavitt definitely needs to settle down and work on accuracy and fundamentals.

BUT

Good WRs catch bad QB throws. It happens all of the time. We do not have tall WRs who can jump and catch high throws.

That was evident in game one. Unless the play call busts a guy wide open none of these guys win one on one matchups

Perhaps the best wide receivers may be the ones not seeing playing time... there are some good ones sitting. Perhaps Sam and the ones he's working with will show improvement after just 3 games working together??? I agree with a previous comment about Harris (#4)... he just doesn't seem to have it.

He tore his ACL near the end of the game or it would be in overtime
