Tiger land and the surrounding area is still seedy, but with new developers owning the section 8 housing behind Tigerland, hopefully that changes soon.

Nothing to do with LSU per se, guessing that Lane has something to do with his visit. He's said several times that one of the many things he picked up from Pete Carroll's program at S.Cal. was Carroll's bringing in celebrities to be around his program.
