Lane has almost completely broken their souls. Today will be the final nail in the coffin.

Let the Boomer edgelord have his fun. He thinks he's clever and witty.

I'm not sure this is a Jeep thing. More of an old guy thinking he is clever thing.

I hope for his sake those are fake corn dogs.

Is there an insult that is less impactful in college football than the corndog thing?

I have not met an LSU fan in my life that takes exception to it yet everyone who says it thinks they're the funniest person on the planet.

Corn dogs smell delicious.
I’ve never seen a corn dog at an LSU tailgate.
It makes no sense.
I makes you realize that S Louisiana is special and the people outside of it aren’t that funny.

Its a "smell" thing

People went to LSU tailgated and spelled things being deep fried so they compared that smell to a state fair or something similar and that made them think of a corndod.

It's an insult on the smell of the cooking but they think it's the sickest burn ever. Most of them don't even know the meaning behind their own "insult"

In order for an insult to really hit home, there has to be some truth to it.

This is the problem with the whole corndog thing. Nobody in Louisiana eats that sh!t. This would be like me adorning an anti-Ole Miss display with indicia of their legendary love and respect for education or for its legendary tolerance of other cultures. It just wouldn’t make any sense.

It’s worse than that. Some auburn dude stole it from a Nebraska/Iowa message board story making fun of them smelling like corn dogs…which makes sense because of all the corn grown in that part of the country.

Applying it to LSU is just dumb

It's like they think corndog is an insult.

No. It’s stolen from some other fan base making fun of Nebraska. It’s not even original..

So they say LSU fans like corn dogs or smell like corn dogs and then what…what’s the catch phrase here…what’s the funny part….

Yes, it’s time to embrace the corn dog. (Nathan’s) I made a batch last weekend with chopped up garlic, onions and jalapeños in the batter. Freakin good Tiger Fans!

It's the result of people not really understanding the culture of Louisiana. Lazy reliance on an easily recognized symbol of "low class."

I think saying LSU fans smell like/love "lunch meat" would have been a much more effective insult.
