Now I’m sure everyone is ready to jump on me and call me an idiot. But any rationale fan knows Leavitt kept us in the game. Showed some flashes. NOW, he did cost us at least 1 TD, footwork needs to be cleaned up and needs to work on the deep.

Also, this is probably one of the weakest WR rooms we have had in a very long time. No one really helping him.

I still believe he can develop into the QB needed to win the big games, whether that’s this year or next.

The bigger issue is the continuing theme of Blake baker getting worked over in these big game vs these athletic mobile QBs. Has happened too many times and the scheme was just awful. Soft zone and no pressure won’t cut it.

With all this said, we can bounce back next week and play a full 60 mins

Dude needs to learn how to hang in the pocket. He has worse happy feet than year 1 JD5

I’m not sure, what he lacks can be taught today.

I haven’t watched film to know if wide receivers simply aren’t getting open, or if he just can’t see them. But it’s frustrating to see him playground shite 2/3s of the time

He kept us out of the game by missing receivers.

Right now Leavitt is the Auburn version of Bo Nix.

True he can get better but remember he was Lane’s 4th choice. Chambliss, Sorsby, and Williams we made runs at before this guy.

Lol no it’s not. Baker gave up some points to a really good offense and elite QB. Sam Leavitt can’t throw the ball against a bad defense.

He won’t be fixed overnight. However, with more snaps and under Kiffin and hopefully the WR room starts to develop he can really hit stride at the right time. Like I said, the flashes are there.

Outside of running all over Clemson, he has not played particularly well and certainly not consistently enough for a championship run. Barely enough for a winning record in conference - maybe. No playoffs this year.

$150m and counting (down the drain).

He has learned nothing in 3 games. Biggest moment in the game he makes a horrible throw to a wide open TE, then on the last play hits the DL in the face mask.

He's not a comfortable QB from the pocket. He looks to run way to early & often nor does he continue to look downfield. He just darts out & tries to out run or fake everyone out.

The problem is sadly more fundamental

He has to develop into A QB before he can develop into THE QB

He does not do the QB part of his job very well. He’s a run first headcase and hardly the best we can get if that’s the kind of offense we want to run

Making plays with your legs when you have to is awesome.

Making plays with your legs because you’re bailing out of clean pockets is ok, but not ideal.

Making plays with your legs because you keep missing open receivers is a problem.
