I'm going to give a guy more than one year before I bail

With what seems like 90% transfers with no cohesion and an OL that cannot pass block. And yeah that's all coaching too, but it's not like he's never had teams which did that well. One year is not 'giving a guy a chance.' Chill your little panties.
Don't sweat Bama. Their coach is basically Les Miles. They just don't know it yet.

Les catching strays
Les 2006-2013ish was a solid coach and probably has another 2 natties if Saban doesnt go to bama
After 2013 he kinda started losing it

People really discount the stats tonight favored us and we had some bad breaks early in the season. We really are an asshair away from being undefeated number 1 right now. Way too soon to be crying to fire the dude, give him a little time to figure it out. Not like we can fire him right now anyway

Kiffin is fine. We have issues. The biggest being how bad Kelly had this program. Look at the people we had transfer out and who we had transfer in. Immediate improvements in most spots.
But we need some co tinuoty. If Kiffin can hold together this core we should be in better shape going forward.

The red zone and turnover stats are arguably the most important and those never favored us tonight.

Welcome to the Lane Kiffin experience big dawg. His teams will always get big style points by dominating overmatched teams, but his teams will always come up short in the big games.

Seems pretty definitive for a guy that probably has 20+ more years of head coaching

I mean sure I guess, but the last nearly 20 years that he has been a head coach it has been a definitive trait.
It can be different going forward, but for anyone to expect it to be different going forward would be a belief based on nothing but blind faith and hoping for something different.
What Kiffin has been this year has largely been what he has been as a head coach.

The reason why the stats were in our favor is because of special teams snafus by LSU (hidden yardage) - punt returns, fumbles, etc.

quote:I don't know. He definitely should have fricked 2007 up but backed into the championship. He had good teams but they always seemed to do what they had to to frick things up. I always felt like great talent was being wasted and as great as 2011 was, it was rendered worthless and irrelevant by the final result.

Bama will lose again and after an offseason of optimism, they'll lose 3 again next year. Classic Les.

Don't be so pedantic on a message board homie
That's what I expect. Can that change? sure, but I have no reason to believe it will.

It won’t be any better next year.

Honestly it’s just fans who can’t handle their emotions or fans who didn’t want Kiffin in the first place making any noise tonight about “being out” on him.
It’s pretty ridiculous

Not pedantic. Just trying to figure out if he definitely never will win a big game, or maybe kinda might one day

DeBoer has shown that LSU is his punk bitch!

The Kyren Lacy game was such an inexcusable loss by Kiffin on the Ole miss side

You have to. But the expectations with a $50 million dollar roster is high. And you were in position to win all of the loses besides tonight. Thats what hurts the most.
