Not in a lot of things, but it is in division standings. No coach is gonna brag that they finished 2nd in the division. Overall record, ranking, and bowl game mean much more than where you finish in your division. And the more games Alabama loses, the better it is for LSU. So War Damn Eagle.

The SEC is Alabama and thirteen midgets. The fact that some of the midgets are a bit better than others is irrelevant.
