There was no search. Kiffin was the only choice the fanbase would accept and the Athletic Dept wanted to appease the fans. Kiffin was still a good hire for a fanbase that was losing interest and it was a safe choice. But that doesn't mean there werent higher upside options out there. Time will tell but I still think we're in good shape
