The 90s were pretty bad, but for a single season give the BS hype and this generationally awful offense, to me this is the worst I have ever seen. The defense has had some moments but get 0 help from the offense. Considering who the coach and AD were supposed to be, I’d say it’s the worst. They will get rolled by OU.
The entire Nussmeier injury thing has been shrouded in obfuscation. The whole thing is just a disaster.

Honestly, this reminds me of 1989. High hopes beginning of the year not realizing how bad things truly were. What’s worse is a lot of the real talent will be gone after this year. Again, like in ‘89.

I definitely agree. I went to some of those games as a student. The difference here is that Kelly straight up stole from LSU for what he is being paid. He retired on the job.

91 was put your earrings in a box and send em back to ya momma. Which led to FOR SALE signs put on seats which me and 3 buddies bought 16 seats on the same row for $15/game. 92 led to a 2-9 season pretty rough stretch.

7 out of 10 seasons in the 1990s were clearly worse teams than this one.
1981 and 1983 and 1989 were worse. So were 1974 and 1975 and 1976.
Dont get me wrong: this season is crap, IMO.
