So as it stands, LSU who is getting sued by the SEC in federal court has zero ineligible players on the roster.

Meanwhile Ole Miss has 1.

Makes sense

What about the court order that says they have to be rostered? I could just be a retard, but this shite is confusing

They were not added but the roster only included 103 players, leaving 2 spots open. Since they are both enrolled in school, they CAN be added at a later date.

I think this was the expected outcome for this weekend

I am not smart so help me out…
I thought that when Judge Jorden enjoined them that meant they had to be added to the roster
Or does it mean at any point during the season & not necessarily by today’s deadline?

LSU is staring the SEC dead in the eyes, while breaking zero rules, and asking “why are you suing us again”?

Meanwhile, at least 6 SEC teams will be fielding a roster with an ineligible player on it.

Maybe Kiffin and the boys really are playing 4D chess.

I mean, Harris hasn't practiced at all and I think Wright only started on Monday

Isn't there a 7 day acclimation period required before they are full go?

I just know it exist but don't know the nuances

And is Harris fully rehabbed?

He cannot force them to be added to the team. But if they were added to the team, then LSU was enjoined to treat them as they did every other player.

With LSU not having any illegal players on the roster, what are the options for countersuit against the SEC.

Also, I think it is the right move to leave them off for now, but it shows the hypocrisy of the SEC and their selective enforcement of TRO's.

The attorney said IF they were rostered, they can't be taken off the roster

So, no we aren't forced to roster them

This was the prudent decision, given the uncertain environment and the potentially draconian consequences.

I hope the team and staff are focused on humiliating Clemson tomorrow night in DV. Crowd needs to be rabid.

None. LSU hasn’t suffered any damages.

So the SEC is suing LSU who has exactly zero “former professional” players on the roster. Meanwhile, no lawsuits ever hinted at Alabama who actually played one.

Par for the course.
