I'm not shitting on him but in mop up duty against a tired defense or backups.

He looks noticeably stronger. Say what you want but Jones isn’t the most patient runner. We need a change of pace and Berry looked good enough to get more meaningful touches.
Eta: I don’t know why people are downvoting this ?? I am not hating on Jones at all. He’s definitely top dog, I’m just saying it would be good to have another back get carries and I think Berry is worth a look. This board is on edge 24/7 lol

While I agree that he has to do it in the thick of the game, he clearly looks faster than damn near anyone on the field in the open field. Showed great moves. We need to design some plays for him.

He missed his block on that QB run early in the first quarter and was immediately taken out. He needs to do it all before getting an expanded role.

Ha Ha! What? What game were you watching? The dude looked timid, confused and slow. And tiny. The play where he was supposed to block out wide for Leavitt, he looked like he had no idea what he was supposed to do. Leavitt ran by him!

He's not a good blocker, but some dudes are talented/fast enough to get a few touches in games regardless because when they have the ball in the open field, they can be electric. He is one of those guys. But yes, he needs to learn to block some to be used more.

The problem is if he is a liability on passing downs then the defense can key on him getting the ball in the few snaps he gets during close games.

As long as he gives max effort in everything he does and holds onto the ball, he'll be fine.
