Most insane stat of the night. Best offensive night in Tiger history. Got a team this year!

That’s because all they scored was TDs

This defense is likely better than 2019.

kinda two different offenses. 2019 was big plays. This team is methodical. Every drive. 12, 13 plays 80 yards

The Saints dropped 40 first downs on the Cowboys in 2006 (Brees' and Payton's first year) in a 42-17 rout in Jerry World. I think it's still the NFL record.

The NFL counts TDs as first downs. Does college? I don't know.

shite is going to get stupid after he is here recruiting talent for longer than 9 months. Between the Louisiana talent and his portal grabs

The 2019 team probably had more big plays also. But yeah it's incredibly impressive

What that does is allow your defense to play like they did tonight.

Check TOP
LSU - 36:09
Clemson - 23:51

Hard for the other team to score points when A) you never have the ball and B) when you do get the ball, the other teams defense is completely fresh and riled up

This was the opening game, against a P4 opponent.

And we had plenty of early season mistakes; a pick, lots of drops. Wait until this team hits it's stride.

Dang ... that's impressive, against a respected opponent. To think we couldn't accomplish that in all those blowouts against Rice, Tulane (3 * 62-0) or even Southern and Grambling in recent years!

Yeah I was thinking of that. We had at least four drops +4 tipped passes. At least 8 throws right there. He's gonna start slinging that ball
