Would you actually be upset if we get Evans?

I get that he is a head case, but you can’t deny his talent. Maybe he come here and under Coach O and the leadership that we have building he gets it together. It can go the other way as well that he is a cancer in the locker room and doesn’t fulfill his academic duties. I get that we can get another back, but if we do get him we will just have to trust the Coaching staff.

If we are in good spots for Gibbs or other RBs, that have no issues on or off the field like ZE, then yes I'd rather not have him and take Gibbs or another good RB. If it's ZE or bust, then you take him and hope for the best.

He’s undoubtedly a great talent. I wouldn’t be upset, I just wouldn’t count on him sticking around wherever he goes.

When my paycheck has LSU on it, I’ll weigh in. Until then I will be a fan and leave this to the staff that has us playing for a national championship in a week.

Nope, if we can get someone else I would prefer that. But is he is the guy I will take him.

I have a policy:

I cheer like hell for anyone in Purple and Gold. I have my "wishes" and "preferences". But, once on the team...I am all in on support.

My paycheck had LSU on it for 7 years and nobody ever asked for my input regarding football matters. I was very disappointed I had so much to offer!

No.

Ed has weighed the pros cons.

Ed knows.

Ed knows if he prefers Gibbs.

If Ed takes Gibbs, then I want Gibbs.

Ed’s proven that he’s a good recruiter.

Ed’s good.

No. Obviously not,

It’s a situation where I’ll be happy if we land him and relieved if we don’t.

I wouldn’t be upset but I’d be concerned about his impact on the team

I wouldn't be upset, I'd happy to land the #1 RB a second year in a row.

let's be honest...

the kid is young, and probably needs guidance. Who at his age doesn't need or desire guidance, accountability, being challenged and getting encouragement?

Yes, because I think it’s wasting a scholarship when it can be given to someone more deserving and team oriented. I’m afraid it will be wasted and this year, of all years, we don’t need to waste a scholarship.

If there was ever a situation to “trust the coaches” then this is it. If O is comfortable with taking Evans, then I’m all aboard.

So Evans wiggled out of his LOI with UGA because UGA did not accept it?
