That atmosphere was 1 of 1. When LSU is rolling nighttime in Death Valley is peak cfb. When LSU has that atmosphere it's one of the greatest home field advantages in all of sports.
But do most of these kids give a rip about that these days? It seems like it would be like, "Yeah the atmosphere was crazy and I'd love to be a part of that. But this other team if offering a few million more than ya'll. Can you match their offer?"
Money > facilities, game atmosphere, fans, uniforms, rich history, recent success, Heisman winners, tradition, etc.

He' counting the money he will make from Tech.
Kiffin has a great general manager. Both he and Kiffin have a plan on how much to allocate and how much they are willing to pay for each position group. They're not going to outbid Tech if it affects the money needed for other targets.
