Why aren’t we desperate for a RB?

I don’t see a melt status line we should have. If we go into next year with the little dude from Catholic, the other dude with 20 career carries without any glimpse of star power, and supposed mini beast mode Curry... we in trouble. Wait til next years class? Ummm... how are we going to survive this season?

We will be fine at RB. Brosette is out to prove something and Curry is a great complement to him. Honestly Curry is the perfect back for us.

I trust the Coaching staffs assessment of our needs before I would ever trust yours. Go melt by yourself somewhere

The fact that the staff is not making it a priority should tell you that they think LSU will be fine at the postition.

And John Emery and Davis from Southern Lab. If we just get 2 of those 3, we are set for 3 years.

Nah. The board has basically been the same since the spring. Just not a good year for rbs this cycle, instate, regionally or nationally. The staff, and 247, think we got a top 10 guy with Curry and still in the hunt for a highly rated Joiner. Guys like Provens are hit or miss with rankings sites. Most scouts in those are looking for electric, flashy plays out of backs his size. All perception and really how kids look in 7 on 7 during the eval seasons of spring and summer.

Hope so. Running back really is the most overrated position in football.

We will have 5 running backs on the roster next year. We will not have the star power we’ve gotten accustomed to, but that can’t be solved this year no matter how many backs we sign. Five is enough. And two in this class is plenty.

When you get 19 carries your junior year, you're probably coming off the bench your senior year. If he was capable of proving anything, it would have happened by now even with the talent he played behind.

Never understood the crazy desire to sign 1/5 of a recruiting class as RBs???

RB is one of the few positions that freshman can regularly contribute.

Why do so many of you act like CEH and Brousett don't exist?

Between Brossette, CEH, and Curry we will be just fine I promise. We’re gonna be able to tote the rock. A lot of people are selling Nick short. He’s a damn good back.

Thanks I hope we will be ok. I don’t believe RB is an overrated position though. Auburn would be SEC champs if Rb was an overrated position this year.
