When is concern warranted?

Yes, it’s very early. There’s still a lot more to happen. The sky is certainly not falling. All that said, at what point are the more optimistic people looking to see concern as legitimate?

We have a bunch of pussies on here. Did you expect to flip a 7-6 team with the worst offense into a national title team in 4 days of the portal?

well since all the big studs we have been hearing about interest in LSU are signing elsewhere, I would say serious concern is warranted. We have a lot of ground to make up and apparently we don't have the money available to get what we need. Very concerning imo.

What exactly is the concern here? You don’t think LSU will have enough players to field a team next year?

YOU should know better.
The portal closes on January 16, but that's just the last day for a player to ENTER the portal. It is NOT the last day for a team to sign a player in the portal.

No need for concern….trust the process. Most of the players that have flourished under Kiffin are a product of his system. Before Chambliss and Lacy, there was Dart and Judkins. All players that, once in that particular system, thrived. Let others overpay for certain players, while CLK goes out and finds players that fit his need.

Correct me if I am wrong but on the 17th the portal just closes to new entries but players don't have to make a decision by then and can sign witha school after that date correct? Or did they put a hard stop on when you can sign as well?

IMO the only legit case this early on for bumming is if we miss on Leavitt.
After that we just need to see some OL action over the course of the next couple weeks.
