no idea rating wise but seems he has been pretty good at pinning teams inside the 20. to me that means more than just average yards per punt as you do not know what is he trying to do more? Boom punts or in position to try and pin teams deep?

I have no idea on national rating but IIRC he was 2nd team all conf in whatever conf MTSU is in now. Thought I saw that inthe commitment announcement

No he was the last punter in the portal. Actually ranked the last player in entire portal. But our coaches like him so he’s the best punter ever in college to me

He was on the ray guy award watchlist. So that’s all punters in the country. I’d say he’s pretty decent

Unless he punts backwards he’s an improvement.

Blake Ochsendorf averaged 40.2 yards per punt this year. That was 12th in the SEC. But the leader, Thorson from UGA, only averaged 44.1 y/p. I couldn't find any stats on net yards or returns against.

Our special teams were awful outside of kickoffs. We can’t punt, deep snap, hold or place kick at a high level. Hopefully we find a new everything of possible.

Matt Moscona said that he averaged over 43 yards per punt and had 13 punts go over 50 yards as a freshman. LSU's 2 punters combined for 1 over 50 all year.

There isn't really a top punter in the portal. They are all ranked the same score.
Chadwick is a freshman, which covers the position for the next 3 years and he's already shown that he can punt for distance and placement.
Whether he's a top punter is subjective, but what he is, is an improvement at a spot we needed to improve and he has 3 years of eligibility.

The exact reason why BK needs to hire a dedicated ST coach..get coach McMahon back.
Need a real FG Kicker who is reliable up to 55yds and a punter who can change field position in a game, not 35yd shanks every game and know how to cover punts/KO.

That’s no reason not to have an NFL caliber kicker. Kickers are better than ever. Should start worrying about 60+, anything in the 50’s you gotta trot your kicker out there.
Range isn’t undoable.

and that is why FG/PK can cost your 1 or 2 games a year....Damion is like an average HS Kicker.
