Update on Collin Simmons (good news for LSU)

A very well known recruiting analyst for Texas has switched his pick from Texas to LSU after picking Texas last night.
A bunch of smoke on Texas board yesterday afternoon was that they got Simmons with a huge NIL deal. Apparently they have changed tune, and so has this recruiting analyst.

I think Shea lowered his prediction due to what was being thrown around yesterday afternoon, but it still seems LSU should be the favorite.

Can't relax until ink is on paper unfortunately. I wish players could make it official at any time. I don't understand why not with transfer portal and NIL in place.

but but I was told LSU can't compete with Texas money. this board told me if they want him they'll take him from LSU because they have bigger money bags than us. they stole williams from us last year and an overrated QB who wasn't even the best QB in the state.
Texas isn't even doing that great in recruiting their own state right now. Recruits know Sark isn't going to last there long. Going to have to prove it before they start landing them. If they have a good year this year it would go a long ways for them in recruiting.

I’ve followed recruiting for thirty years, but have never paid a service for this reason.
These guys are changing their predictions and percentages so we will purchase.

I think the most important thing is to respect the decision and follow it up by tweeting the young men personally to congratulate them even if they’ve trolled your school.
Using language such as braddah, bruddah, brudda, bro, or bruh in the congratulatory tweet is best as that highlights the respect being shown for the decision

Texas is doing everything they can to keep him in state. It’s very fluid at the moment but I believe he will be a Tiger when it’s all said and done.
