Whatever ends up happening, I just hope this kid isn't being forced somewhere and ends up where he wants to be. Whether it's SC, LSU, wherever, it's ultimately his choice and the final decision should be his.

The way I read it is that Burch really wants to be at LSU but feels obligated to go to USC. His mom being aware of his true feelings wants him to not feel obligated and to go to where his heart leads him, which is LSU. He just feels it would be easier on his mom and family if he goes to USC. Less blowback on the family.

To be honest it really sounds like she is holding out to potentially get a large sum of mula. Trying to scare South Carolina by not signing if they dont

This. It's like a UHigh kid going to Bama, but LSU actually has other elite recruits every year. Burch is their elite recruit because nobody wants to go lose half their games every year in Columbia, SC. Therefore, he has somewhat backed himself into a corner and doesn't know how to escape.

She’s ok with him going to SC bit is blocking him sending in his LOI? Yea i don’t buy that. I believe they never signed a LOI. They signed a random form yesterday and quickly flipped it over so no one could see it.

My USCe buddies are saying the mom is waiting on the bag man. Not kidding.
