Univ of Texas hate for LSU recruiting?

Anybody else notice this? Anytime I read comments about recruits LSU and UT are both trying to get. The UT fans always try to make it seem like we pay players and other shite.
Pretty hypocritical considering how shady Mack Brown and his staff is. Straight dumpster fire in Austin.
Main reason I bring this up is because it seems like they hate on LSU way more than any other school.
Is their any residual animosity from the past? Or are they just jealous of success while they can't even win the Big12?

This, plus they think LSU is inferior to UT in every way.
ETA: As someone who grew up in Dallas, I definitely am familiar with the UT arrogance.

I meant schools that hate on LSU. Like Auburn, Ole Miss, piggies, etc... I'm sure they hate on A&M a lot as well.

I think there is some animosity from the Les Miles recruiting years since we have been somewhat successful at plucking top Texas recruits.
After reading this site over the past year, I still think Texas A&M fans are far bigger arrogant pricks.

I know about 8 years ago UT fans had a hard time admitting LSU was a more successful program in terms of the trophy case even though they didn't have the UT history.

Maybe Texas should worry about hating Oklahoma, considering they've given up 118 points to them over their last two meetings.

I'm an Austinite with UT pals. I've honestly never heard this. It could be that UT fans have about 50% the fervor LSU fans have. If that.

I met a Texas fan a couple of years ago that swore up and down that the NCAA personally had a problem with Texas and the BIG 12, and that is why they had been "overlooked" every year the SEC won the BCS Title game and a BIG 12 team hadn't. That fan base and college has seriously got to be the most delusional in the whole country. I think the whole failure of "The Longhorn Network" has proven that.
Some Texas recruits want to come here (and defensive in particular) because LSU has proven to cook a better dish with less ingredients. If LSU had all the resources and advantages over a conference that Texas does, we would probably have about 6 or 7 BCS Titles this decade.
With all that said, they are just jealous and butthurt that an "inferior school in Louisiana" is kicking their asses.

I live in Austin and their hate for LSU is strong. They think Les is a joke and they were very proud of themselves for flipping the Davis kid last year.

As I recall the 2009 CWS against UT, it was a bitter pill to swallow. Everything from the 3rd game beat down to greater fans support in the stands to favorable commentary from the TV broadcast team drove them crazy. It got so bad for them that they started throwing out trailer and Katrina trash zingers along with Burger King employees, etc. I loved it all because I knew they were pissed.
