RB isn't really a position that requires experience.
It does if you want to throw the ball.
Fuller might fill that role, few freshmen can.

Didn't coach O say he wanted to keep those last 2 scholarships open so he could backfill them next year like being able to sign 27 instead of 25? If he uses them this year with 2 grad transfers he won't be able to do that. The class of 2019 in Louisiana is supposed to be loaded.

O couldn't fill the 2018 class, what makes you think he can fill the 2019 class with two additional scholarships?

lot more talent out there both in state and out of state thinking LSU in 2019
we don't need any transfer RB's. We are after 3 big time RB's for 2019 with one already committed and we have the inside track for the other two.

Agree with you, find a cb and a q.b, should be after those and offensive lineman. Need the best ones

How many carries between these guys?
WTF does this have to do with anything? Can he run? Can he block? Can he remember his assignments? Can he hold onto the ball? If he can do those four things experience makes almost zero difference.

What about the kid from Baylor Terence Williams 6'1 220 his stats are pretty good.

He's proven so far he cares about two things: loyalty to his guys and keeping his job
Loyalty to his guys is a bad thing? Do you think that recruits would prefer to see that he was disloyal? Whether you agree with how he is going about it, do you not believe that Orgeron knows that winning consistently is the best way to keep his job?

Have you seen the list of coaches/sidekicks he's been loyal too? Loyalty is a great trait, but taking care of your buddies if they are unqualified is a really bad thing and ends careers. See Les Miles and a multitude of other coaches.
I think the recruits would prefer to see him win. It's really pretty simple.

You really think he's hiring "unqualified" coaches and that he's doing it at the risk of winning? Don't confuse a loyalty hiring with hiring the best qualified and don't disregard the need for unity and chemistry. Relationships is a HUGE part of that's what attracts kids to a program as much as winning does. All kids buy the coaches pitch that they are going to win and that they need that kid to make it happen. There isn't a coach in America that tells a kid, "Hey, we'll probably be mediocre but you're really going to like your position coach".

Yeah not worried about RB, we should be fine by doing RB by committee.
Now, if they whiff on guys this cycle, we can panick.

If you been paying attention to lsu football, Lsu does not need any rb transfers, need db and qb tho

A lot of fuss over nothing, these kids are RB's and have done this all of their young lives so for. It's nothing different with college, it's just the next level, both Brossette and Fournette have played in some games. Brossette is a slasher that can run, has broken off a few runs, he just needs to run with lower pad level. The Edwards-Helaire kid is an explosion waiting to happen, kid is unnatural at making people miss him, once he gets a few games under him he'll take over. shite, he took over from Guice at Catholic, every time I listened to one of their games I heard his name called all the time in Guice's last year there. I was wondering if Guice still played for them. Lmao

Never left, kid is trying to make a name for himself and get out from under his brother's enormous shadow.

I don't think there is any back available that would REALLY improve our stable of backs. I would focus on addressing bigger areas of need.
