I get we want the 5 star kids, but give me Taron Francis, Jacob Washington and Babineaux. They are more likely to stay long term and develop like BTJ and Nabers.

WR recruiting under BK could be better. It looked like the 2025 class might turn that around, but things have been trending in the other direction lately.

You should be able to sell two first-round receivers on the recruiting trail.

Alternate strategy, sign the best three WRs in LA every single year. Focus out-of-state resources on other positions.

I agree. Spend the money on positions our state doesn’t produce. Wr and rb in Louisiana are everywhere.

One position you don’t have to worry about at LSU is WR. Alternate strategy is the best strategy

It’s hard to believe LSU doesn’t end up with one of those 3, but who knows these days. As stated here and elsewhere, we’ll be fine at WR.

The allure of playing with Bryce Underwood will attract good receivers along with our track record of producing NFL talent.

Keep an eye on Archie, Peyton, and Eli, they'll be waist deep buying Wide Receivers for Arch

Are you saying that like Arch will need the help?

It is pay for play out in the open for all to see and some schools are going all in to win now. Lsu is not one of those. I still think we will be an upper tier SEC team but will we be competitive with the big NIL spenders such as Ohio State, Texas, Oregon, Georgia? That is the big question right now. Can we still compete with the elite without the same level of talent that they purchase?

Don't think either needs to be the strategy. Can be a mix of the two. Take our shot on some out-of-state 5 stars, AND bring in some good La. ones. It would depend on how good the out of staters are each year.

Ok? Texas could get a team of nothing but 5 star players and still won’t win shite. Too many toddlers in charge who all want to put their grubby little crap covered hands in the cookie jar to ever be a real successful program again.

Texas is determined to build a team that will destroy the aggies every year and win the SEC.

They are willing to spend whatever it takes to accomplish that objective.

Wild. They are going after Moore, Lockett, and Ffrench. Then also supposedly lead for 5 star ATH Michael Terry who could play WR as well. Sark throwing that bag to load up on offense.

Forgive my ignorance about how these things work; but, is a 60% confidence prediction even worth making? Or is that just more clickbait?
